The Fishing DVD #19 - February 2010
Summer fishing for trout in the highlands of Tasmania sounds rather idyllic doesn't it? We set off from home where the average temperature had been 30 degrees for the past week, looking forward to capturing some great images of tailing trout. Having been to the highlands before, I knew that we may just need some warmer clothes, and maybe a rain jacket. Have a look at this behind the scenes footage. >> BTS
We did get some good fish at Little Pine Lagoon, and seeing the fish so close to the bank in ankle deep water did heat the blood, if not the body. Chris Bassano then took us down to Strahan on the west coast of Tassie, promising to find us some trout in the most unlikely of scenarios - the surf beach was only a good cast away! These trout were extremely fussy and wary, and Peter really had to call on his vast experience to find the answers.
